Before exchanges made DOGE a ticker, Reddit made it a tip. Dogetipbot turned comments into tiny payments until 2017, when its operator’s bankruptcy trapped balances. The charitable winter of 2014 — bobsled, well, NASCAR — is the user manual the inscription era mostly did not read.

The bot was a custodian wearing a party hat. Users who left coins in it learned, in 2017, the oldest rule in this story: if a stranger holds the keys, you hold a story. Inscription markets relearned the same rule with mint services that receive DRC-20 first.
